Two Summer Refresher Drinks

Hot summer days call for refreshing drinks. We’ve got just what you need to whip up family- and figure-friendly summer beverages for a sweet way to cool down and stay hydrated.

Aloha Refresher

Quench your thirst with this simple drink filled with vitamins and minerals.

Ingredients :

  • 5 oz. coconut water
  • 2 oz. lychee juice
  • 2 oz. spring water
  • 2 whole strawberries
  • 1 oz. blueberries
  • 4 pitted lychee
  • 1/4 tsp. chia seeds
  • Sliced lemon
  • Mint
  • Topped with Ice

Soak chia seeds in water for at least one hour. Then, place strawberries, blueberries, mint, lychee, chia seeds, coconut water, spring water, and lychee water into a cup. DO NOT SHAKE — it will be very messy and fruits will become bruised. Serve over ice. Garnish with a lemon slice and mint.

Passion Sunset Refresher

Tea is a low-calorie, antioxidant-packed, and a great way to cool down. The added pineapple juice provides a refreshing fruity flavor.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. water
  • 1 bag Tazo passion tea
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice

Pour the water into a heat-resistant pitcher. Add the tea bag and let it steep for 10 minutes. Remove and discard the bag and allow the tea to cool to room temperature before refrigerating until cold. Pour 1/2 cup of pineapple juice into a glass, then add the freshly brewed tea.
