Your Core-Strengthening Circuit
Start with a 5–10 minute warm-up including dynamic stretches, foam rolling, or light treadmill walking to increase circulation and prepare your body.
Trainer Tip: Focus on keeping your core muscles engaged throughout the workout, especially during arm or leg movement. Only add progression exercises once you’ve mastered the basics with proper form.
1. Bird Dog
- On all fours, extend opposite arm and leg. Tap hand to knee under the body, then extend again
- 6 reps each side | 2 sets
2. Quadruped Plank
3. Glute Bridges
4. Seated Spinal Twist
5. Single Leg Lowers
6. Windshield Wipers
7. Side-Lying Bananas
8. Foam Roller Side Extensions
- Supine: Lay lengthwise on roller, arms open to stretch chest.
- Prone: On stomach, roll arms forward and lift chest using upper back.
