Personal trainers demonstrating partner workout at ClubSport

Looking to shake up your routine, push harder, and have more fun with your workouts? February’s Partner Workout of the Month—themed Stronger Together—is all about connection, challenge, and teamwork. Designed by Elite Personal Trainer Maria Guerra, this workout blends cardio, strength, and core training while using partner assistance to increase intensity, improve form, and keep you motivated.

Whether you’re training with a friend, spouse, or fellow member, this workout proves that when you work together, you truly get stronger.

Why Partner Training Works

Partner workouts aren’t just more fun—they’re incredibly effective. Training with a partner:

  • Increases accountability and motivation
  • Adds natural resistance and support
  • Improves balance, coordination, and control
  • Encourages better form through real-time feedback
  • Breaks you out of repetitive routines

February is the perfect time to try something new, and this workout delivers a full-body challenge that feels fresh, dynamic, and engaging.

How the Workout Is Structured

Complete three sets, each containing cardio, lower body, upper body, and core movements. Adjust reps as needed based on fitness level and aim for controlled, high-quality movement.

Training Guidelines:

  • Frequency: 2–3x weekly
  • Intensity: Moderate to heavy (RPE 7–9). Add weight or reps each week.
  • Sets: 3 per exercise
  • Rest:
    • 90–120 sec between the first three exercises
    • 60–90 sec on abduction work

Coaching Tips from Maria Guerra

A well-designed glute workout for women goes far beyond aesthetics. Strong glutes help:

  • Communicate with your partner about pacing and assistance level
  • Prioritize form before increasing speed or reps
  • Modify time or reps to match your fitness level
  • Encourage each other—energy and support matter!

This workout can be performed as a standalone session or incorporated into your regular training routine.
